Globalization needs a counterbalance: a manageable community-structure in the own environment. There are some successful cities and regions, where this deep human desire has been understood. They offer an active, citizen-friendly concept that is different and not associated with common political pratices.
Our basic concept for the development of municipalities und regions:

Step 1:
Analysis of the current situation
focus on city/region specific resources

Step 2:
Future-vision as public participation process
The goal is for the participants to collaboratively shape their own environment (Future-Search; RTSC,..)

Step 3:
Transfer insights into positioning and specific projects
Synchronizing economic, ecological and social resources,
suitable to the vision
Involving all political parties and if necessary neighboring cities or regions;
contribution by citizens
professional project management
integrative financial concept

The previously described approach itself is clearly beyond the common:
Including all political parties, being cooperative & linked, instead of competing & separated. All interest groups together shape their own space.
One interesting insight coming from Go-beyond approaches: There is one emerging level where human basic needs meet each other, despite different interests. These basic needs are desirable for everyone. We are talking about respect, appreciation and getting perception or the feeling of belonging to a community. Such a basis creates unimaginable possibilities that would have been deemed impossible before.
